Miriam Borensztien, RVT
Miriam grew up in Beachwood, Ohio and later attended The Bel Rea Institute of Animal
Technology in Colorado where she received her registered veterinary technology certification.
She then joined the staff of The Equine Specialty Hospital as anesthetist, treatment
nurse, and valued assistant for diagnostic procedures.
She grew up around horses and currently owns a three-year old paint-horse named
Chief. Additionally, she has a German Shepard named Duke, and two cats, Nemo and
Floyd.

Sharon Sykes, RVT
Sharon came to the Equine Specialty Hospital in 2006 as a veterinary assistant,
and completed her registered veterinary technician shortly after. Sharon and her
husband Justin live in Boston Hts. with their daughter Alyssa along with 4 horses,
3 dogs, and 1 cat.
